Card Expenditure Statistics

Where credit, debit and charge cards are used in the UK is evident from the Card Expenditure Statistics (CES) that are reported to The UK Cards Association by the merchant acquirers, i.e. those banks that process plastic card transactions on behalf of businesses and enterprises. These data are divided into 12 sub sectors.
