The UK Cards Association aims to explain what the card payments industry does and how it meets the interests of retailers and consumers. We work to build public confidence in the industry, and as part of this we contribute to formal requests for input by government, regulators and other public bodies both at UK and EU level. In doing so, we seek to ensure that changes in legislation and regulations are balanced and meet the interests of industry, consumers and merchants without inadvertent consequences.
We aim to be transparent to all of our stakeholders and the wider public, so we publish all of our consultation responses on these pages so that all those concerned with the issues covered can see what UK Cards has to say on behalf of the industry, and can provide feedback if they wish.
