What level of protection is available?

Some cards may offer less protection than others, while one company may brand your card, it may be that another is issuing it. Cardholders should refer to the terms and conditions to confirm the level of protection offered and any liability.

Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 entitles you to protection when you use your credit card to buy goods or services which cost between more than £100 and £30,000, even when only part of the payment was made using a credit card.
