Card protection agencies (CPA)
The Card Protection Agency Accreditation Scheme has been in operation since 1998. Credit card protection businesses allow you to make a single call to have all your cards cancelled and replacements ordered. A CPA will charge you for this service. CPAs may also provide service for a wide range of other personal items and documents. Benefits of the services can include emergency cash advances, emergency hotel bill payment, cover for lost cash, and replacement travel tickets to get home.
